There was a time when I knew my little girl. I knew she liked unicorns and fairies, cookies and milk, and birthdays with cake. But now...now I don’t know her at all.

She got hooked on Meth. I always thought it wouldn’t happen to my daughter. That she was smart and nothing bad would happen to her. It turns out that I didn’t know anything at all.

Page title: Welcome

The Michigan Meth Watch Program is a collaborative initiative that began in 1997 to reduce Methamphetamine (Meth) lab activity by making the theft or purchase of precursor products (Meth ingredients) more difficult. Since inception, it has grown from a core group of retailers using signage, educating employees, and reporting suspicious activity, to a broad membership of businesses linked together to prevent theft, fraud, and abuse of legal products used in the manufacture of Meth. Our group consists of grocery markets, drug stores, convenience stores, auto parts stores, pet/farming supply stores, banks, credit unions, security firms, property managers, and storage facilities. The strong community partnerships and proactive involvement of business owners and citizens have made this prevention program a success throughout the state of Michigan.
